ENVY Is 0-3, and Glyph Wasn't the Problem
LEVIATÁN swept ENVY 2-0 on July 26, dropping the rebuilt roster to 0-3 in Americas Stage 2, and the roster swap that was supposed to fix things hasn't moved the record at all.
I wrote a month ago that ENVY had one more swap left in them before the season ran out. Turns out the swap was never the fix. LEVIATÁN beat them 13-4, 13-8 on Split and Summit on July 26, and that's ENVY's third series loss in a row to open Stage 2. 0-3. 0-6 on maps. Dead last in Group Alpha.
Glyph Actually Looked Fine
Here's the part that should worry ENVY more than the record does. Glyph's Stage 2 debut against EG wasn't bad. 223 ACS, 33/29/14. That's a guy playing his role. The team lost that series 0-2 anyway, then dropped Haven 13-4 and Sunset 13-3 to MIBR the following week, then this. Three different opponents, three different styles, same result. When the new piece is performing and the record still doesn't move, the problem was never the piece.
LEVIATÁN Doesn't Care Who's Across From Them
LEV is 3-0 now, averaging under six rounds a map against them across three series. That's not a rebuilding ENVY roster getting exposed specifically. That's LEV rolling through Group Alpha regardless of who shows up. Worth remembering before anyone pins this loss entirely on ENVY's chemistry.
Where That Leaves Them
I said there was no fourth swap left before the season's done, and I still believe that. What's left is reps, and Stage 2 group play doesn't hand out mercy for a roster still learning each other mid-losses. Three series in, ENVY needed one to feel different. None of them did.
